  
 Web Mountain Bikes purpose is to promote the safe and enjoyable sport of mountain biking for the recreational rider. Our goal is to give you more information and knowledge about mountain biking to enhance your fun and safety. Our site supports environmentally sound practices and appropriate use of our wilderness and forested areas. We want to protect the EARTH and it's environment, and use recycleable materials in all of our packaging, as well as promote other EARTH saving techniques. Our team members>The Wrecking Crew>have over 40 years combined experience with mountain biking. Our home base is Red Lodge, Montana and the Appalachian mountains near Frederick, Maryland. Our site supports The National Wildlife Federation, The Nature Conservancy, The National Geographic Society, The Audubon Naturalist Society, and the Maryland State Forest Association with charitable contributions. We are a member of the International Mountainbikng Association (IMBA) and Rails To Trails. Stan, alias the MaNiMaL, is an IMBA Mountain Bike Patroller in Maryland.
